HCV antibodies in test sample are incubated with recombinant
HCV antigens (Core 518, E1E2NS4 and NS5) bound on
microwell plate. After washing, HCV antibodies, from sample
bound to antigen on microwell are detected by HRP
conjugated second antibody. Following washing, the next step
is substrate color development reaction. If it has a color
reaction in light blue, it means anti-HCV presents in the test
sample. This color change is proportional to the amount of
anti-HCV.
