IMMUNOGEN: Synthetic peptide from the C-terminus of rat NIS

DESCRIPTION/SPECIFICITY: Located in the cell membrane of thyroid cells, NIS can allow sodium and iodine flow across the membrane. The antiserum is raised against the C-terminus of rat NIS. Su itable for studying the sensitivity of thyroid tumors to iodine treatment. Absorption with 50 - 100 mg immunogen per ml diluted antiserum abolishes staining.

INCUBATION TIME: Overnight at 2-8°C

DILUTION BUFFER: 0.1 M PBS containing 1% BSA and 0.1 % sodium azide
STORAGE: 2-8°C for immediate use, or at -20°C (aliquot)
