IMMUNOGEN: Recombinant human ornithine decarboxylase produced in E. coli
DESCRIPTION/SPECIFICITY: Ornithine decarboxylase is the rate-limiting enzyme in polyamine biosynthesis converting ornithine into putrescine. In normal tissue ornithine decarboxylase activity is low but increases in proliferating tissue. Absorption with 10-100 mg immunogen per ml diluted antiserum abolishes the staining.
