CLINICAL APPLICATION/SPECIFICITY: Mab 7F1 specifically reacts with the 39 kDa RAP protein,
which is cosynthesized with human LRP/a2MR (low density lipoprotein receptor-related protein/a2
macroglobulin receptor). It inhibits the binding of ligands, e.g. tPA, uPA, VLDL, lipoprotein lipase, and a2 macroglobulin- proteinase complexes to LRP/a2MR.
