Antibodies, polyclonal | S | SIRPa (SHPS-1) polyclonal, anti-

Reactivity: human
Articlecode: 12--1125

Product: Anti-SIRPa (SHPS-1, MyD-1, BIT, p84)
Catalog #: 12-1125
Amount: 25 mg

CATEGORY: Rabbit Polyclonal
DESCRIPTION: A novel SHP-2 associated glycoprotein was recently cloned from human, rat, mouse and cattle by several labs and was designated SIRPa, SHPS-1, MyD-1, BIT and p84. SIRPa is a new gene family containing at least fifteen members. SIRPa is a substrate of manyactivated tyrosine kinases such as insulin receptor,EGFR, PDGFR and src, and a specific docking protein for SHP-2. SIRPa has regulatory effects on cellular responses induced by serum, growth factors, insulin, oncogenes, growth hormones and cell adhesion and plays a general role in different physiological and pathological processes.
FORM: Purified IgG in PBS containing 0.02% Sodium Azide
IMMUNOGEN: A peptide corresponding to amino acids 487 to 503 of human SIRPa. The sequences of immunogenic peptide differ from those of mouse, rat and bovine by one amino acid.
APPLICATION: Immunoblotting (min. dilution 1:500)
REACTIVITY/SPECIES: Human
RECOMMENDED FOR POSITIVE CONTROL: whole cell lysate from THP-1 cells (75-110 kDa band should be detected)
STORAGE: 2-8°C for immediate use, or at -20°C (aliquot)
12-1125P Blocking peptide available
