Reactivity: human, mouse, rat
Articlecode: 12--1131
Product: Anti-TACE/ADAM17 (CT)
Catalog #: 12-1131
Amount: 25 mg
CATEGORY: Rabbit Polyclonal
DESCRIPTION: TNFa converting Enzyme (TACE) protein was recently purified and human and mouse TACE cDNAs were cloned. TACE is a membrane bound metalloprotease-disintegrin in the family of mammalian ADAM (disintegrin and metalloprotease). TACE also processes other cell surface protein, including TNF receptor, TGFa, the L-selectin adhesion molecule, and alphacleavage of amyloid protein precursor (APP). TACE mRNA is expressed in a variety of human and murine tissues. TACE was selected as one of the few targets in cytokine activation by the Eight International Conference of the Inflammation Research Association.
FORM: Purified IgG in PBS containing 0.02% Sodium azide
IMMUNOGEN: A peptide corresponding to amino acids 807 to 823 of human TACE. The sequence differs from those of mouse and rat by one amino acid.
APPLICATION: Immunoblotting (min. dilution 1:500)
REACTIVITY/SPECIES: Human, mouse and rat
RECOMMENDED FOR POSITIVE CONTROL: whole cell lysate from HeLa or Jurkat cells (80-130 kDa band should be detected)
STORAGE: 2-8°C for immediate use, or at -20°C (aliquot)
12-1131P Blocking peptide available
