Use: Used to detect the concentration of 8-isomeric prostaglandin F2α (8-epi-PGF2α) in samples such as serum, plasma, and cell culture supernatant.Specificity: The kit uses enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay. Biotin-labeled 8-isomeric prostaglandin F2α (8-epi-PGF2α) and purified anti-8-isomeric prostaglandin F2α (8-epi-PGF2α) antibodies are coated on microtiter plates. In a competitive inhibition reaction, a certain amount of solid phase antibodies and biotin-labeled 8-isomeric prostaglandin F2α (8-epi-PGF2α) and non-labeled antigens (calibrators or specimens) are used to inhibit the competitive reaction. The binding amount of 8-isomeric prostaglandin F2α (8-epi-PGF2α) is inhibited by the amount of non-labeled antigen. The more non-labeled antigen, the less the antibody binds to the biotin-labeled 8-isomeric prostaglandin F2α (8-epi-PGF2α), and vice versa. After the reaction is balanced, a solid-phase antibody-biotinylated 8-isomeric prostaglandin F2α (8-epi-PGF2α) is formed, and then enzyme-labeled avidin is added to form a solid-phase antibody-biotinylated 8-isomeric prostaglandin F2α (8-epi-PGF2α)-enzyme-avidin complex. After adding substrate for color development, the absorbance (OD value) is measured at a wavelength of 450nm using an enzyme reader. As the concentration of 8-isomeric prostaglandin F2α (8-epi-PGF2α) increases, the OD value gradually decreases, showing a good linear relationship. This kit has the characteristics of high sensitivity, strong specificity, good repeatability, simple operation and rapidity, and has reliable detection performance for the decrease or increase of 8-isomeric prostaglandin F2α (8-epi-PGF2α) in samples.
