Background:
This gene encodes an enzyme operative in the beta-oxidation system of the peroxisomes. Deficiency of this enzyme leads to pseudo-Zellweger syndrome. Alternative splicing results in multiple transcript variants.
Other Names:
3-ketoacyl-CoA thiolase, peroxisomal, Acetyl-CoA acyltransferase, Beta-ketothiolase, Peroxisomal 3-oxoacyl-CoA thiolase, ACAA1, ACAA, PTHIO
Target/Specificity:
This ACAA1 antibody is generated from rabbits immunized with a KLH conjugated synthetic peptide between 147-176 amino acids from the Central region of human ACAA1.
Antigen Region:
147-176
Antigen Type: Synthetic Peptide
Gene Name: ACAA1 (HGNC:82)
Gene ID: 30
Primary Accession: P09110
NCBI Accession: NP_001123882.1;NP_001598.1
Other Accession: NP_001598.1
Format: Purified polyclonal antibody supplied in PBS with 0.09% (W/V) sodium azide. This antibody is purified through a protein A column, followed by peptide affinity purification.
