Background:
ACADM is the medium-chain specific (C4 to C12 straight chain) acyl-Coenzyme A dehydrogenase. The homotetramer enzyme catalyzes the initial step of the mitochondrial fatty acid beta-oxidation pathway.
Other Names:
Medium-chain specific acyl-CoA dehydrogenase, mitochondrial, MCAD, ACADM
Target/Specificity:
This ACADM antibody is generated from rabbits immunized with a KLH conjugated synthetic peptide between 189-217 amino acids from the Central region of human ACADM.
Antigen Region:
189-217
Antigen Type: Synthetic Peptide
Gene Name: ACADM (HGNC:89)
Gene ID: 34
Primary Accession: P11310
NCBI Accession: NP_000007.1;NP_001120800.1
Other Accession: Q8HXY8
Format: Purified polyclonal antibody supplied in PBS with 0.09% (W/V) sodium azide. This antibody is prepared by Saturated Ammonium Sulfate (SAS) precipitation followed by dialysis against PBS.
