Background:
cholinergic receptor nicotinic alpha 9 subunit(CHRNA9) Homo sapiens This gene is a member of the ligand-gated ionic channel family and nicotinic acetylcholine receptor gene superfamily. It encodes a plasma membrane protein that forms homo- or hetero-oligomeric divalent cation channels. This protein is involved in cochlea hair cell development and is also expressed in the outer hair cells (OHCs) of the adult cochlea. [provided by RefSeq, Feb 2012],
Alternative Names:
Neuronal acetylcholine receptor subunit alpha-9 (Nicotinic acetylcholine receptor subunit alpha-9) (NACHR alpha-9)
Immunogen: The antiserum was produced against synthesized peptide derived from the N-terminal region of human CHRNA9. AA range:50-100
Isotype: Rabbit
Purification: The antibody was affinity-purified from rabbit antiserum by affinity-chromatography using epitope-specific immunogen.
Concentration: 1 mg/ml
Observed band: 55
GeneID: CHRNA9
Storage: -20°C/1 year
