Background:
Alpha-actinin is an actin-binding protein with multiple roles in different cell types. This gene expression is limited to skeletal muscle. It is localized to the Z-disc and analogous dense bodies, where it helps to anchor the myofibrillar actin filaments
Other Names:
Alpha-actinin-3, Alpha-actinin skeletal muscle isoform 3, F-actin cross-linking protein, ACTN3
Target/Specificity:
This ACTN3 antibody is generated from rabbits immunized with a KLH conjugated synthetic peptide between 409-437 amino acids from the Central region of human ACTN3.
Antigen Region:
409-437
Antigen Type: Synthetic Peptide
Gene Name: ACTN3
Gene ID: 89
Primary Accession: Q08043
NCBI Accession: NP_001095.1
Other Accession: NP_001095.1
Format: Purified polyclonal antibody supplied in PBS with 0.09% (W/V) sodium azide. This antibody is purified through a protein A column, followed by peptide affinity purification.
