Advanced Glycation End Products (AGE) Detection Kit

Use: Used to detect the concentration of advanced glycation end products (AGE) in samples such as serum, plasma, and cell culture supernatant.Specificity: The kit uses enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay. Biotin-labeled advanced glycation end products (AGE) are used, and purified anti-advanced glycation end products (AGE) antibodies are coated on microtiter plates. In the competitive inhibition reaction, a certain amount of solid-phase antibodies and biotin-labeled advanced glycation end products (AGE) and non-labeled antigens (calibrators or specimens) inhibit the competitive reaction. The binding amount of the antibody and biotin-labeled advanced glycation end products (AGE) is inhibited by the amount of non-labeled antigen. The more non-labeled antigen, the less binding of the antibody and biotin-labeled advanced glycation end products (AGE), and vice versa. After the reaction is balanced, a solid-phase antibody-biotinylated advanced glycation end products (AGE) is formed, and then enzyme-labeled avidin is added to form a solid-phase antibody-biotinylated advanced glycation end products (AGE)-enzyme label-avidin complex. After adding substrate for color development, the absorbance (OD value) is measured at a wavelength of 450nm using an enzyme reader. As the concentration of advanced glycation end products (AGE) increases, the OD value gradually decreases and shows a good linear relationship. This kit has the characteristics of high sensitivity, strong specificity, good repeatability, simple operation, and rapidity, and has reliable detection performance for the reduction or increase of advanced glycation end products (AGE) in samples.
