ARP-24-174-MSM2
Catalog Number: 24-174-MSM2
Size: 100 µl, 0.5 ml, 1 ml
Isotype: Mouse IgG's
Size: 100 µl, 0.5 ml, 1 ml
Isotype: Mouse IgG's
Decription:
It recognizes an oncofetal glycoprotein with a single chain of 70kDa, which is identified as alpha fetoprotein (AFP). This monoclonal antibody is highly specific to AFP and shows no cross-reaction with other oncofetal antigens or serum albumin. AFP is normally synthesized in the liver, intestinal tract, and yolk sac of the fetus. Antibody to AFP has been shown to be useful in detecting hepatocellular carcinomas (HCC) and germ cell neoplasms, especially yolk sac tumors.
Synonyms: Alpha fetoglobulin, FETA, HPAFP
Clone: C2 + C3 + MBS-12
Isotype: Mouse IgG's
Immunogen: Recombinant full-length human Alpha fetoprotein
Reactivity: human. Others not known.
Form: Purified, in 10mM PBS with 0.05% BSA & 0.05% azide. Also available WITHOUT BSA & azide at 1.0mg/ml.
Applications: Flow Cytometry (0.5-1ug/million cells in 0.1ml)
Immunofluorescence (0.5-1ug/ml)
Immunohistology (Formalin-fixed) (1-2ug/ml for 30 minutes at RT)
(Staining of formalin-fixed tissues requires boiling tissue sections in 10mM citrate buffer, pH 6.0, for 10-20 min followed by cooling at RT for 20 minutes)
Optimal dilution for a specific application should be determined.
Reactivity: HepG2 cells. Fetal liver or hepatocellular carcinoma
Concentration: 0.2mg/ml
Storage: Can be stored at +4C. For long term storage, aliquot and store at -20C. Avoid repeated freezing and thawing cycles.
