Isotype: Mouse IgG1, kappa
Size: 100 µl, 0.5 ml, 1 ml
Isotype: Mouse IgG1, kappa
Decription:
It recognizes an oncofetal glycoprotein with a single chain of 70kDa, which is identified as alpha-fetoprotein (AFP) (ISOBM TD-2 workshop and assigned by K. Nustad to group D of a cluster of 6 major epitopes of human alpha fetoprotein). This monoclonal antibody is highly specific to AFP and shows no cross-reaction with other oncofetal antigens or serum albumin. AFP is normally synthesized in the liver, intestinal tract, and yolk sac of the fetus. Antibody to AFP has been shown to be useful in detecting hepatocellular carcinomas (HCC) and germ cell neoplasms, especially yolk sac tumors.
Synonyms: Alpha fetoglobulin, FETA, HPAFP
Clone: D10
Isotype: Mouse IgG1, kappa
Immunogen: Alpha fetoprotein (AFP) purified from serum of a hepatoma patient
Reactivity: human, It does not react with cow, dog, mouse, and rat.
Form: Purified, in 10mM PBS with 0.05% BSA & 0.05% azide. Also available WITHOUT BSA & azide at 1.0mg/ml.
Applications: Flow Cytometry (0.5-1ug/million cells in 0.1ml)
Immunofluorescence (0.5-1ug/ml)
Optimal dilution for a specific application should be determined.
Reactivity: Hep-G2 cells. Fetal liver or hepatocellular carcinoma
Concentration: 0.2mg/ml
Storage: Can be stored at +4C. For long term storage, aliquot and store at -20C. Avoid repeated freezing and thawing cycles.
