ANGPTL6 regulates angiogenesis and also directly regulates lipid, glucose, and energy metabolism. The serum levels of ANGPTL6 are significantly increased in obese humans, patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus (T2DM), and in metabolic syndrome.

Immunogen: Recombinant human ANGPTL6.
Reactivity: human
Specificity: Recognizes human ANGPTL6. Detects a band of ~52kDa by Western blot. Does not cross-react with other ANGPTL family proteins.
Form: Purified, in 0.2um-filtered solution in PBS, pH 7.4. Contains no preservatives.
Applications:
ELISA: (direct or indirect: 1:2'000-1:5'000)
Western blot: (1:2'000-1:5'000 using ECL. Suggested blocking and dilution buffer is PBST with 0.05% Tween 20 and 5% skim milk. Suggested incubation time is 1 hour at rooom temperature).
Working Dilution: Optimal conditions must be determined individually for each application.
Concentration: 0.5mg/ml
Storage: 2-8C immediate use, or -20C (aliquote)
