Description: Rabbit IgG polyclonal antibody for Aquaporin-9(AQP9) detection. Tested with WB in Mouse.Protein Name: Aquaporin-9
Protein Function:
Forms a channel with a broad specificity. Mediates passage of a wide variety of non-charged solutes including carbamides, polyols, purines, and pyrimidines in a phloretin- and mercury-sensitive manner, whereas amino acids, cyclic sugars, Na(+), K(+), Cl(-), and deprotonated monocarboxylates are excluded. Also permeable to urea and glycerol (By similarity). .
Other Names: Aquaporin-9, AQP-9, Aquaglyceroporin-9, Aqp9
Subcellular Localization: Membrane ; Multi-pass membrane protein .
Gene ID: 64008
Immunogen: A synthetic peptide corresponding to a sequence at the C-terminus of mouse Aquaporin 9(263-278aa VLFIQMHHSNPDPEVK).
Calculated MW: 31764
Purification: Immunogen affinity purified.
Format: Lyophilized
Reconstitution: Add 0.2ml of distilled water will yield a concentration of 500ug/ml.
Contents: Each vial contains 5mg BSA, 0.9mg NaCl, 0.2mg Na2HPO4, 0.05mg Thimerosal, 0.05mg NaN3.
Concentration (mg/ml): Add 0.2ml of distilled water will yield a concentration of 500ug/ml.
Storage: At -20˚C for one year. After reconstitution, at 4˚C for one month. It can also be aliquotted and stored frozen at -20˚C for a longer time.Avoid repeated freezing and thawing.
