AC-BP7276b
Background:
BarX1 is a member of the Bar subclass of homeobox transcription factors. Studies of the mouse and chick homolog suggest the encoded protein may play a role in developing teeth and craniofacial mesenchyme of neural crest origin. The protein may also be associated with differentiation of stomach epithelia.
Other Names:
Homeobox protein BarH-like 1, BARX1
Target/Specificity:
The synthetic peptide sequence used to generate the antibody AP7276b was selected from the C-term region of human BarX1. A 10 to 100 fold molar excess to antibody is recommended. Precise conditions should be optimized for a particular assay.
Gene Name: BARX1
Gene ID: 56033
Primary Accession: Q9HBU1
Format: Peptides are lyophilized in a solid powder format. Peptides can be reconstituted in solution using the appropriate buffer as needed.
