Background:
ARIDB3 is a member of the ARID (AT-rich interaction domain) family of DNA-binding proteins. This protein is homologous with two proteins that bind to the retinoblastoma gene product, and also with the mouse Bright and Drosophila dead ringer proteins. A pseudogene on chromosome 1p31 exists for the ARIDB3 gene. Members of the ARID family have roles in embryonic patterning, cell lineage gene regulation, cell cycle control, transcriptional regulation and possibly in chromatin structure modification.

Other Names:
AT-rich interactive domain-containing protein 3B, ARID domain-containing protein 3B, Bright and dead ringer protein, Bright-like protein, ARID3B, BDP, DRIL2

Target/Specificity:
The synthetic peptide sequence used to generate the antibody AP1481c was selected from the Center region of human ARIDB3. A 10 to 100 fold molar excess to antibody is recommended. Precise conditions should be optimized for a particular assay.

Gene Name: ARID3B

Gene ID: 10620
Primary Accession: Q8IVW6
Format: Peptides are lyophilized in a solid powder format. Peptides can be reconstituted in solution using the appropriate buffer as needed.
