Background:
Cell adhesion molecules (CAMs) are a family of closely related cell surface glycoproteins involved in cell-cell interactions during growth and are tho µght to play an important role in embryogenesis and development. BLCAM α and BLCAM β are produced by alternative splicing of the CD22 gene and form a heterodimer that mediates B cell-B cell interactions.
Other Names:
Cell adhesion molecules, BL-CAM , SIGLEC-2 , Siglec-2, SIGLEC2, CD22, FLJ22814 , MGC130020, Leu-14,
Primary Accession: P20273
Gene Name: CD22
Gene ID: 933
Concentration (mg/ml): 0.2 mg/ml
