Background:
This gene is a member of the BCL2/adenovirus E1B 19kd-interacting protein (BNIP) family. It interacts with the E1B 19kDa protein which is responsible for the protection ofvirally-induced cell death, as well as E1B 19 kDa-like sequences ofBCL2, also an apoptotic protector. Alternative splicing of thisgene results in four protein products with identical N- andC-termini.
Other Names:
Vesicle transport protein SEC20, BCL2/adenovirus E1B 19 kDa protein-interacting protein 1, Transformation-related gene 8 protein, TRG-8, BNIP1, NIP1, SEC20L
Gene Name: BNIP1
Gene ID: 662
Primary Accession: Q12981
Format: Peptides are lyophilized in a solid powder format. Peptides can be reconstituted in solution using the appropriate buffer as needed.
