Buffered Peptone Water (BPW) ISO 2.0

Buffered Peptone Water (ISO) 2.0 is used for pre-enriching damaged Salmonella sp. form various food sources. As Salmonella may be present in low numbers and/or sub-lethally injured, pre-enrichment allows the cells time to repair and multiply before being introduced to selective culture, thereby improving the chances of recovery from the sample. Same results, but at a friendlier cost than Alpha's B02-130 BPW ISO.
