Background:
complement C9(C9) Homo sapiens This gene encodes the final component of the complement system. It participates in the formation of the Membrane Attack Complex (MAC). The MAC assembles on bacterial membranes to form a pore, permitting disruption of bacterial membrane organization. Mutations in this gene cause component C9 deficiency. [provided by RefSeq, Feb 2009],
Alternative Names:
C9, Complement component C9
Immunogen: The antiserum was produced against synthesized peptide derived from human C9. AA range:181-230
Isotype: Rabbit
Purification: The antibody was affinity-purified from rabbit antiserum by affinity-chromatography using epitope-specific immunogen.
Concentration: 1 mg/ml
Observed band: 70
GeneID: C9
Storage: -20°C/1 year
