Background:
The protein encoded by this gene is a member of the F-actin capping protein alpha subunit family. It is the alpha subunit of the barbed-end actin binding protein Cap Z. By capping the barbed end of actin filaments, Cap Z regulates the growth of the actin filaments at the barbed end.
Research Area: Cancer, Signal Transduction
Synonyms:
CAPPA2, Capping protein (actin filament) muscle Z line, alpha 2, CapZ alpha 2, CapZ alpha-2, CAPZ, CAPZA2, CAZA2, F actin capping protein alpha 2 subunit, F actin capping protein subunit alpha 2, F-actin-capping protein subunit alpha-2
Immunogen: Recombinant protein of human CAPZA2
Swissprot: P47755
Gene Accession: BC005338
Calculated MW: 33 kDa
Purification Method: Affinity purification
Buffer: PBS with 0.05% sodium azide and 50% glycerol, PH7.4
Concentration: 0.4 mg/mL
Dilution: WB 1:200-1:1000, IHC 1:25-1:100
Storage:
Store at -20°C. Avoid freeze / thaw cycles.
