Protein Family: Peptidases, Enzymes
Pathway and Disease: Signal Transduction, Cell Growth and Death, Cancers
Description:
Caspase-10 is involved in the activation cascade of caspases responsible for apoptosis execution. Caspase-10 is recruited to both Fas- and TNFR-1 receptors in a FADD dependent manner, and participates in the granzyme B apoptotic pathways. Caspase-10 cleaves and activates caspase-3, -4, -6, -7, -8, and -9. Defects in caspase-10 are a cause of familial non-Hodgkin lymphoma (NHL). NHL is a cancer that starts in cells of the lymph system, which is part of the body's immune system. NHLs can occur at any age and are often marked by enlarged lymph nodes, fever and weight loss.
Alternate Names: Caspase-10, CASP-10, ICE-like apoptotic protease 4, Apoptotic protease Mch-4, FAS-associated death domain protein interleukin-1B-converting enzyme 2, FLICE2, CASP10, MCH4
Application Notes: E: 1:500-1:1,000; WB: 1:100-1:500; IF: 1:50-1:100
Accession No.: Q92851
Antigen: KLH-conjugated synthetic peptide encompassing a sequence within the C-term region of human caspase-10.
Format: Each vial contains 0.1 mg IgG in 0.1 ml (1 mg/ml) of PBS pH7.4, 1% BSA with 0.09% sodium azide. Antibody was purified by immunogen affinity chromatography.
Storage:
Store at -20°C. Minimize freeze-thaw cycles. Product is guaranteed one year from the date of shipment.
