Description: Rabbit IgG polyclonal antibody for Extracellular calcium-sensing receptor(CASR) detection. Tested with WB, IHC-P in Human;Mouse;Rat.Protein Name: Extracellular calcium-sensing receptor
Protein Function:
Senses changes in the extracellular concentration of calcium ions. The activity of this receptor is mediated by a G- protein that activates a phosphatidylinositol-calcium second messenger system.
Other Names: Extracellular calcium-sensing receptor, CaSR, Parathyroid cell calcium-sensing receptor 1, PCaR1, CASR, GPRC2A, PCAR1
Subcellular Localization: Cell membrane ; Multi-pass membrane protein .
Tissue Specificity: Expressed in the temporal lobe, frontal lobe, parietal lobe, hippocampus, and cerebellum. Also found in kidney, lung, liver, heart, skeletal muscle, placenta. .
Gene ID: 846
Immunogen: E. coli-derived human CASR recombinant protein (Position: Q926-S1078). Human CASR shares 80.5% and 78.6% amino acid (aa) sequence identity with mouse and rat CASR, respectively.
Calculated MW: 120675
Purification: Immunogen affinity purified.
Format: Lyophilized
Reconstitution: Add 0.2ml of distilled water will yield a concentration of 500ug/ml.
Contents: Each vial contains 5mg BSA, 0.9mg NaCl, 0.2mg Na2HPO4, 0.05mg NaN3.
Concentration (mg/ml): Add 0.2ml of distilled water will yield a concentration of 500ug/ml.
Storage: At -20˚C for one year. After reconstitution, at 4˚C for one month. It can also be aliquotted and stored frozen at -20˚C for a longer time.Avoid repeated freezing and thawing.
