Decription:
Recognizes a sialoglycoprotein of 39kDa, identified as glycophorin A. It reacts with a peptide epitope on the extracellular domain of human glycophorin. Glycophorin A is present on red blood cells (RBC) and erythroid precursor cells. It has been shown that glycophorins acts as the receptor for Sandei virus and parvovirus.

Reactivity: human and cow. Others-not tested.
Form: Purified, in 10mM PBS with 0.05% BSA & 0.05% azide. Also available WITHOUT BSA & azide at 1.0mg/ml.
Applications: Erythrocyte Agglutination
Flow Cytometry (0.5-1ug/million cells in 0.1ml)
Immunofluorescence (0.5-1ug/ml)
Optimal dilution for a specific application should be determined.
Reactivity: Erythrocytes
Concentration: 0.2mg/ml
Storage: Can be stored at +4C. For long term storage, aliquot and store at -20C. Avoid repeated freezing and thawing cycles.
