Immunogen: Normal human blood lymphocytes. Antigen distribution: LT4 is present on 39+5% of normal peripheral blood lymphocytes and 90% of lymphocytes. This antigen is found on the T helper cells. The CD4 molecule is the receptor for HIV.

Reactivity: human

Specificity: Reacts with CD4 antigen (MW 59kDa). This Mab blocks on 50% binding of monoclonal antibody Leu 3a.

Form: Purified Ig, in PBS containing 0.1% Sodium Azide

Applications: Suitable to enumerate T helper/inducer subset in peripheral blood and tissue. Frozen and paraffin sections.
