Immunogen: Human CD68 glycoprotein

Reactivity: human

Specificity: 110 kDa of CD68 glycoprotein antigen found in macrophages in wide variety of tissues. This clone will not cross-react with granulocytes and their precursor cells. Reactivities on cultured cell lines: Human spleen, tonsil or lymph node cells.

Form: Purified, in 0.05M Tris buffered saline (pH7.4-7.8), 1% carrier protein, 0.2% sodium azide

Applications: Immunohistochemistry, suitable for frozen and paraffin embedded tissue. Specimens may be fixed in formalin, zinc formalin, B5 or Bouin's fixatives. Not for fixed cell smears. Prior to the staining procedure proteolytic enzyme digestion (trypsin, ficin, pepsin or pronase) may be necessary when staining formalin-fixed specimens.

Working Dilution: Optimal dilution should be determined by user

Storage: 2-8C for immediate use, or at -20C (aliquot)
