Background:
CD83 molecule(CD83) Homo sapiens The protein encoded by this gene is a single-pass type I membrane protein and member of the immunoglobulin superfamily of receptors. The encoded protein may be involved in the regulation of antigen presentation. A soluble form of this protein can bind to dendritic cells and inhibit their maturation. Three transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been found for this gene. [provided by RefSeq, Oct 2011],
Alternative Names:
CD83, CD83 antigen, hCD83, B-cell activation protein, Cell surface protein HB15, CD antigen CD83
Immunogen: The antiserum was produced against synthesized peptide derived from human CD83. AA range:101-150
Isotype: Rabbit
Purification: The antibody was affinity-purified from rabbit antiserum by affinity-chromatography using epitope-specific immunogen.
Concentration: 1 mg/ml
Observed band: 23
GeneID: CD83
Storage: -20°C/1 year
