Catalog Number: 24-6480-MSM1
Size: 100 µl, 0.5 ml, 1 ml
Isotype: Mouse IgM, kappa
Size: 100 µl, 0.5 ml, 1 ml
Isotype: Mouse IgM, kappa
Decription:
Recognizes a neuraminidase-sensitive sialoprotein (CDw75), present on cell membrane and cytoplasm of germinal center B-cells and derived lymphomas. This monoclonal antibody reacts with RBC precursors of bone marrow, ductal and ciliated epithelial cells of kidney, breast, prostate, pancreas, lung, and with glioblastomas, astrocytomas, and Reed Sternberg cells in lymphocyte predominant Hodgkin s disease. It is shown to be a helpful antibody for ascribing a B-cell phenotype in known lymphoid tissues.
Synonyms: 6-sialyltransferase 1 (6-ST1), Alpha 2,6 ST1, Beta galactoside alpha 2,6 sialyltransferase 1, CMP N acetylneuraminate beta galactosamide alpha 2,6 sialyltransferase 1, CMP-N-acetylneuraminate-beta-galactosamide-alpha-2, SIAT1, ST6 beta galactosamide alpha 2,6 sialyltranferase 1, ST6Gal I, ST6N
Clone: LN-1
Isotype: Mouse IgM, kappa
Immunogen: Nuclei from pokeweed mitogen-stimulated peripheral blood lymphocytes.
Reactivity: human. Others not known.
Form: Purified, in 10mM PBS with 0.05% BSA & 0.05% azide. Also available WITHOUT BSA & azide at 1.0mg/ml.
Applications: Flow Cytometry (0.5-1ug/million cells in 0.1ml)
Immunofluorescence (0.5-1ug/ml)
Immunohistology (Formalin-fixed) (0.5-1.0ug/ml for 30 minutes at RT)
(Staining of formalin-fixed tissues requires boiling tissue sections in 10mM citrate buffer, pH 6.0, for 10-20 min followed by cooling at RT for 20 minutes)
Optimal dilution for a specific application should be determined.
Reactivity: HeLa or Daudi Cells. Germinal center B-cells in a lymph node or tonsil. Use LN1 s ability to stain surface of erythrocytes as an internal positive control.
Concentration: 0.2mg/ml
Storage: Can be stored at +4C. For long term storage, aliquot and store at -20C. Avoid repeated freezing and thawing cycles.
