Background:
CENPO is a subunit of a CENPH (MIM 605607)-CENPI (MIM 300065)-associated centromeric complex that targets CENPA (MIM 117139) to centromeres and is required for proper kinetochore function and mitotic progression (Okada et al., 2006 [PubMed 16622420]).
Other Names:
Centromere protein O, CENP-O, Interphase centromere complex protein 36, CENPO, ICEN36, MCM21R
Target/Specificity:
This CENPO antibody is generated from rabbits immunized with a KLH conjugated synthetic peptide between 42-69 amino acids from the N-terminal region of human CENPO.
Antigen Region:
42-69
Antigen Type: Synthetic Peptide
Gene Name: CENPO
Gene ID: 79172
Primary Accession: Q9BU64
NCBI Accession: NP_001186732.1;NP_077298.1
Other Accession: NP_077298.1
Format: Purified polyclonal antibody supplied in PBS with 0.09% (W/V) sodium azide. This antibody is purified through a protein A column, followed by peptide affinity purification.
