Datasheet
Background:
Centrosomal protein of 78 kDa, also known as Cep78, is a protein that in humans is encoded by the CEP78 gene. Proteins are biochemical compounds consisting of one or more polypeptides typically folded into a globular or fibrous form in a biologically functional way. A polypeptide is a single linear polymer chain of amino acids bonded together by peptide bonds between the carboxyl and amino groups of adjacent amino acid residues. The sequence of amino acids in a protein is defined by the sequence of a gene, which is encoded in the genetic code.

Alternative Name:
Centrosomal protein of 78 kDa, Cep78, CEP78, C9orf81

Application Dilution: WB: 1:500~1:1000

Specificity: CEP78 polyclonal antibody detects endogenous levels of CEP78 protein.

Immunogen:
Synthetic peptide, corresponding Human CEP78.

MW: ~ 78 kDa

Swis Prot.: Q5JTW2

Purification & Purity:
The antibody was affinity-purified from rabbit antiserum by affinity-chromatography using epitope-specific immunogen and the purity is > 95% (by SDS-PAGE).

Format:
1 mg/ml in Phosphate buffered saline (PBS) with 0.05% sodium azide, approx. pH 7.3.

Storage:
Store at 4°C short term. Aliquot and store at -20°C long term. Avoid freeze-thaw cycles.
