Background:
Cell cycle events are regulated by the sequential activation and deactivation of cyclin dependent kinases (Cdks) and by proteolysis of cyclins. Chk1 and Chk2 are involved in these processes as regulators of Cdks. Chk1 and Chk2 both function as essential components in the G2 DNA damage checkpoint by phosphorylating Cdc25C in response to DNA damage.
Alternative Name:
Serine/threonine-protein kinase Chk2, CHK2 checkpoint homolog, Cds1 homolog, Hucds1, hCds1, Checkpoint kinase 2, CHEK2, CDS1, CHK2, RAD53
Application Dilution: WB: 1:500~1:2000, IHC: 1:50~1:200, IF: 1:50~1:200, IP: 1:20~1:50
Specificity: Chk2 polyclonal antibody detects endogenous levels of Chk2 protein.
Immunogen:
Recombinant full length Human Chk2.
MW: ~ 62 kDa
Swis Prot.: O96017
Purification & Purity:
The antibody was affinity-purified from rabbit antiserum by affinity-chromatography using epitope-specific immunogen and the purity is > 95% (by SDS-PAGE).
Format:
1mg/ml in PBS with 0.1% Sodium Azide, 50% Glycerol.
Storage:
Store at 4°C short term. Aliquot and store at -20°C long term. Avoid freeze-thaw cycles.
For research use only, not for use in diagnostic procedure.
