Background:
CIR may modulate splice site selection during alternative splicing of pre-mRNAs. It fegulates transcription and acts as corepressor for RBPSUH. It recruits RBPSUH to the Sin3-histone deacetylase complex (HDAC) and is required for RBPSUH-mediated repression of transcription.

Other Names:
Corepressor interacting with RBPJ 1, CBF1-interacting corepressor, Recepin, CIR1, CIR

Target/Specificity:
This CIR antibody is generated from rabbits immunized with a KLH conjugated synthetic peptide between 60-88 amino acids from the N-terminal region of human CIR.

Antigen Region:
60-88

Antigen Type: Synthetic Peptide

Gene Name: CIR1
Gene ID: 9541
Primary Accession: Q86X95
NCBI Accession: NP_004873.3
Format: Purified polyclonal antibody supplied in PBS with 0.09% (W/V) sodium azide. This antibody is purified through a protein A column, followed by peptide affinity purification.
