Background:
The protein encoded by this gene is a zinc finger protein that localizes to the endoplasmic reticulum. The encoded protein binds an iron/sulfur cluster and may be involved in calcium homeostasis. Defects in this gene are a cause of Wolfram syndrome 2.
Alternative Name:
CDGSH iron-sulfur domain-containing protein 2, Miner1, Nutrient-deprivation autophagy factor-1, NAF-1, CDGSH2, ERIS, ZCD2
Application Dilution: WB: 1:500 - 1:2000
Specificity: CISD2 polyclonal antibody detects endogenous levels of CISD2 protein.
Immunogen:
Recombinant protein of human CISD2.
MW: ~ 15 kDa
Swis Prot.: Q8N5K1
Purification & Purity:
The antibody was affinity-purified from rabbit antiserum by affinity-chromatography using epitope-specific immunogen and the purity is > 95% (by SDS-PAGE).
Format:
1mg/ml in PBS with 0.02% sodium azide, 50% glycerol, pH7.3.
Storage:
Store at 4°C short term. Aliquot and store at -20°C long term. Avoid freeze-thaw cycles.
For research use only, not for use in diagnostic procedure.
