Background:
kallikrein B1(KLKB1) Homo sapiens This gene encodes a glycoprotein that participates in the surface-dependent activation of blood coagulation, fibrinolysis, kinin generation and inflammation. The encoded preproprotein present in plasma as a non-covalent complex with high molecular weight kininogen undergoes proteolytic processing mediated by activated coagulation factor XII to generate a disulfide-linked, heterodimeric serine protease comprised of heavy and light chains. Certain mutations in this gene cause prekallikrein deficiency. Alternative splicing results in multiple transcript variants encoding different isoforms. [provided by RefSeq, Jan 2016],
Alternative Names:
KLKB1, KLK3, Plasma kallikrein, Fletcher factor, Kininogenin, Plasma prekallikrein
Immunogen: The antiserum was produced against synthesized peptide derived from human KLKB1. AA range:341-390
Isotype: Rabbit
Purification: The antibody was affinity-purified from rabbit antiserum by affinity-chromatography using epitope-specific immunogen.
Concentration: 1 mg/ml
Observed band: 45
GeneID: KLKB1
Storage: -20°C/1 year
