AC-BP9008c
Background:
Clathrin is a large, soluble protein composed of heavy and light chains. It functions as the main structural component of the lattice-type cytoplasmic face of coated pits and vesicles which entrap specific macromolecules during receptor-mediated endocytosis. CLTA is one of two clathrin light chain proteins which are believed to function as regulatory elements.
Other Names:
Clathrin light chain A, Lca, CLTA
Target/Specificity:
The synthetic peptide sequence used to generate the antibody AP9008c was selected from the Center region of human CLTA. A 10 to 100 fold molar excess to antibody is recommended. Precise conditions should be optimized for a particular assay.
Gene Name: CLTA
Gene ID: 1211
Primary Accession: P09496
Format: Peptides are lyophilized in a solid powder format. Peptides can be reconstituted in solution using the appropriate buffer as needed.
