Description
The cellular retinoic acid-binding protein II (CRABP-II) is involved in the conversion of vitamin A into its intracellular active form retinoic acid, which regulate the genes responsible for lipid metabolism and adipocyte differentiation. CRABP2 gene is located on chromosome 1q21-23 and this region has been linked with related disorders such as familial combined hyperlipidemia (FCHL) and type 2 diabetes mellitus.Alternative Names
Cellular retinoic acid binding protein 2, RBP6, CRABP-II, Cellular retinoic acid binding protein 2, CRABP2, RBP6, CRABP-II, Cellular retinoic acid binding protein 2 Cellular retinoic acid binding protein II, CRABP II, CRABPIIConcentration
1mg/ml (determined by BCA assay)Concentration
Liquid in. Phosphate-Buffered Saline (pH 7.4) with 0.02% Sodium Azide, 10% glycerolStorage: Can be stored at +2C to +8C for 1 week. For long term storage, aliquot and store at -20C to -80C. Avoid repeated freezing and thawing cycles.
