Background:
CREM is a bZIP transcription factor that binds to the cAMP responsive element found in many viral and cellular promoters. It is an important component of cAMP-mediated signal transduction during the spermatogenetic cycle, as well as other complex processes.
Other Names:
cAMP-responsive element modulator, Inducible cAMP early repressor, ICER, CREM
Target/Specificity:
This CREM antibody is generated from rabbits immunized with a KLH conjugated synthetic peptide between 287-314 amino acids from the C-terminal region of human CREM.
Antigen Region:
287-314
Antigen Type: Synthetic Peptide
Gene Name: CREM (HGNC:2352)
Gene ID: 1390
Primary Accession: Q03060
NCBI Accession: NP_001254491.1;NP_001254493.1;NP_001254496.1;NP_001254499.1;NP_001872.3;NP_853549.1;NP_874386.1;NP_874387.1;NP_874388.1;NP_874389.1;NP_874390.1;NP_874392.1;NP_874393.1;NP_877570.1;NP_877571.1;NP_87757
Other Accession: Q03061; P27699; Q1LZH5
Format: Purified polyclonal antibody supplied in PBS with 0.09% (W/V) sodium azide. This antibody is prepared by Saturated Ammonium Sulfate (SAS) precipitation followed by dialysis against PBS.
