Background:
CSGALNACT1 transfers 1,4-N-acetylgalactosamine (GalNAc) from UDP-GalNAc to the non-reducing end of glucuronic acid (GlcUA). CSGALNACT1 required for addition of the first GalNAc to the core tetrasaccharide linker and for elongation of chondroitin chains. CSGALNACT1 is important role in chondroitin chain biosynthesis in cartilage.
Other Names:
Chondroitin sulfate N-acetylgalactosaminyltransferase 1, CsGalNAcT-1, Chondroitin beta-1,4-N-acetylgalactosaminyltransferase 1, Beta4GalNAcT-1, CSGALNACT1, CHGN, GALNACT1
Gene Name: CSGALNACT1 (HGNC:24290)
Gene ID: 55790
Primary Accession: Q8TDX6
Format: Peptides are lyophilized in a solid powder format. Peptides can be reconstituted in solution using the appropriate buffer as needed.
