Background:
The centrosome and spindle pole-associated protein 1 (CSPP1) interacts with centrosomes and microtubules and may play a role in the regulation of G(1)/S-phase progression and spindle assembly. Two isoforms of CSPP1 exist as a result of alternative splicing events. Isoform 1 expression increases throughout the cell cycle and peaks in G2/M phase, whereas isoform 2 expression is highest in G1 phase and decreases thereafter.
Alternative Name:
Centrosome and spindle pole-associated protein 1, CSPP
Application Dilution: WB: 1:500 - 1:1000
Specificity: CSPP1 polyclonal antibody detects endogenous levels of CSPP1 protein.
Immunogen:
Recombinant protein of human CSPP1.
MW: ~ 146 kDa
Swis Prot.: Q1MSJ5
Purification & Purity:
The antibody was affinity-purified from rabbit antiserum by affinity-chromatography using epitope-specific immunogen and the purity is > 95% (by SDS-PAGE).
Format:
1mg/ml in PBS with 0.02% sodium azide, 50% glycerol, pH7.3.
Storage:
Store at 4°C short term. Aliquot and store at -20°C long term. Avoid freeze-thaw cycles.
For research use only, not for use in diagnostic procedure.
