Background:
CTP synthase 1(CTPS1) Homo sapiens This gene encodes an enzyme responsible for the catalytic conversion of UTP (uridine triphosphate) to CTP (cytidine triphospate). This reaction is an important step in the biosynthesis of phospholipids and nucleic acids. Activity of this proten is important in the immune system, and loss of function of this gene has been associated with immunodeficiency. Alternative splicing results in multiple transcript variants. [provided by RefSeq, Jul 2014],
Alternative Names:
CTPS1, CTPS, CTP synthase 1, CTP synthetase 1, UTP--ammonia ligase 1
Immunogen: The antiserum was produced against synthesized peptide derived from human CTPS. AA range:60-109
Isotype: Rabbit
Purification: The antibody was affinity-purified from rabbit antiserum by affinity-chromatography using epitope-specific immunogen.
Concentration: 1 mg/ml
Observed band: 67
GeneID: CTPS1
Storage: -20°C/1 year
