Background:
cubilin(CUBN) Homo sapiens Cubilin (CUBN) acts as a receptor for intrinsic factor-vitamin B12 complexes. The role of receptor is supported by the presence of 27 CUB domains. Cubulin is located within the epithelium of intestine and kidney. Mutations in CUBN may play a role in autosomal recessive megaloblastic anemia. [provided by RefSeq, Jul 2008],
Alternative Names:
CUBN, IFCR, Cubilin, 460 kDa receptor, Intestinal intrinsic factor receptor, Intrinsic factor-cobalamin receptor, Intrinsic factor-vitamin B12 receptor
Immunogen: Synthesized peptide derived from the N-terminal region of human Cubilin.
Isotype: Rabbit
Purification: The antibody was affinity-purified from rabbit antiserum by affinity-chromatography using epitope-specific immunogen.
Concentration: 1 mg/ml
Observed band: 400
GeneID: CUBN
Storage: -20°C/1 year
