Background:
Fractalkine is a transmembrane protein and chemokine involved in the adhesion and migration of leukocytes. CX3C chemokine receptor 1 encoded by CX3CR1 is a receptor for fractalkine. The encoded protein also is a coreceptor for HIV-1, and some variations in CX3CR1 lead to increased susceptibility to HIV-1 infection and rapid progression to AIDS. Four transcript variants encoding two different isoforms have been found for this gene.
Research Area: Microbiology
Synonyms: CX3CR1, CMKBRL1, GPR13, CX3C chemokine receptor 1, C-X3-C CKR-1, CX3CR1, Beta chemokine receptor-like 1, CMK-BRL-1, CMK-BRL1, Fractalkine receptor, G-protein coupled receptor 13, V28
Immunogen: The antiserum was produced against synthesized peptide derived from human AMPK alpha around the phosphorylation site of Thr172. AA range:140-189
Purification: The antibody was affinity-purified from rabbit antiserum by affinity-chromatography using epitope-specific immunogen.
Formulation: Liquid in PBS containing 50% glycerol, 0.5% BSA and 0.02% sodium azide.
Concentration: 1 mg/ml
Storage:
-20°C for 1 year
