AC-BP13184b
Background:
This gene encodes a member of the taxilin family. Theencoded protein binds to the C-terminal coiled-coil region ofsyntaxin family members 1A, 3A and 4A, and may play a role inintracellular vesicle trafficking. This gene is up-regulated bylipopolysaccharide and the gene product may be involved in cellcycle regulation. The related mouse protein was also shown toinhibit activating transcription factor 4-mediated transcriptionand thus regulate bone mass accrual. Alternatively splicedtranscript variants encoding different isoforms have been found forthis gene.
Other Names:
Gamma-taxilin, Environmental lipopolysaccharide-responding gene protein, Factor inhibiting ATF4-mediated transcription, FIAT, Lipopolysaccharide-specific response protein 5, TXLNG, CXorf15, ELRG, LSR5
Target/Specificity:
The synthetic peptide sequence used to generate the antibody AP13184b was selected from the C-term region of CXorf15. A 10 to 100 fold molar excess to antibody is recommended. Precise conditions should be optimized for a particular assay.
Gene Name: TXLNG
Gene ID: 55787
Primary Accession: Q9NUQ3
Format: Peptides are lyophilized in a solid powder format. Peptides can be reconstituted in solution using the appropriate buffer as needed.
