Background:
DDX59 (DEAD box protein 59), also known as ZNHIT5 (zinc finger HIT domain-containing protein 5), is a 619 amino acid member of the DEAD box helicase protein family. Like many DEAD box helicase family members, DDX59 contains a Q motif, which controls ATP binding and hydrolysis. Expressed as two isoforms produced by alternative splicing, DDX59 contains one helicase C-terminal domain and one HIT-type zinc finger.
Alternative Name:
OFD5,ZNHIT5
Application Dilution: WB: 1:500 - 1:2000, IHC: 1:50 - 1:200
Specificity: DDX59 polyclonal antibody detects endogenous levels of DDX59 protein.
Immunogen:
Recombinant protein of human DDX59
MW: Refer to figures
Swis Prot.: Q5T1V6
Purification & Purity:
The antibody was affinity-purified from rabbit antiserum by affinity-chromatography using epitope-specific immunogen and the purity is > 95% (by SDS-PAGE).
Format:
1mg/ml in PBS, 50% glycerol, pH7.3.
Storage:
Store at 4°C short term. Aliquot and store at -20°C long term. Avoid freeze-thaw cycles.
For research use only, not for use in diagnostic procedure.
