Background:
DHRS7 (dehydrogenase/reductase (SDR family) member 7), also known as SDR34C1, CGI-86 or retSDR4, is a 339 amino acid member of the SDR family. Like other members of the SDR family, DHRS7 contains a cofactor-binding Rossman-fold domain and is thought to catalyze the oxidation and reduction of a variety of substrates such as steroids and retinoids. DHRS7 exists as two alternatively spliced isoforms that are encoded by a gene located on human chromosome 14, which houses over 700 genes and comprises nearly 3.5% of the human genome. Chromosome 14 encodes the presinilin 1 (PSEN1) gene, which is one of the three key genes associated with the development of Alzheimer's disease (AD).
Alternative Name:
Dehydrogenase/reductase SDR family member 7, Retinal short-chain dehydrogenase/reductase 4, retSDR4, DHRS7, DHRS7A, RETSDR4, CGI-86, UNQ285/PRO3448
Application Dilution: WB: 1:500~1:1000
Specificity: DHRS7 polyclonal antibody detects endogenous levels of DHRS7 protein.
Immunogen:
A synthetic peptide corresponding to residues in Human DHRS7.
MW: ~ 38 kDa
Swis Prot.: Q9Y394
Purification & Purity:
The antibody was affinity-purified from rabbit antiserum by affinity-chromatography using epitope-specific immunogen and the purity is > 95% (by SDS-PAGE).
Format:
1mg/ml in PBS with 0.1% Sodium Azide, 50% Glycerol.
Storage:
Store at 4°C short term. Aliquot and store at -20°C long term. Avoid freeze-thaw cycles.
For research use only, not for use in diagnostic procedure.
