Protein Family: Cellular Antigens, Receptors and Channels
Pathway and Disease: Cell Growth and Death, Immune System, Signal Transduction, Signaling Molecules and Interaction
Description:
Tumor necrosis factor receptor superfamily member 25 (TRAMP/DR3 or Apoptosis-mediating receptor DR3) is the receptor for TNFSF12/APO3L/TWEAK. TRAMP interacts directly with the adapter TRADD. TRAMP mediates activatio of NFkB and induces apoptosis. TRAMP/DR3 plays a role in regulating lymphocyte homeostasis. TRAMP/DR3 forms homodimers to interact strongly via the death domains with TNFRSF1 and TRADD to activate the apoptosis and NFkB signaling cascades. DR3 is highly expressed in thymocytes and lymphocytes.
Alternate Names: Tumor necrosis factor receptor superfamily member 25, WSL-1 protein, Apoptosis-mediating receptor DR3, Apoptosis-mediating receptor TRAMP, Death domain receptor 3, WSL protein, Apoptosis-inducing receptor AIR, Apo-3, Lymphocyte-associated receptor of death, LARD, TNFRSF25, APO3, DDR3, DR3, TNFRSF12, WSL, WSL1
Application Notes: E: 1:500-1:1,000; WB: 1:100-1:500; IHC: 1:100-1:500
Accession No.: Q93038
Antigen: KLH-conjugated synthetic peptide encompassing a sequence within the N/C-term region of human TRAMP/DR3.
Format: Each vial contains 0.1 mg IgG in 0.1 ml (1 mg/ml) of PBS pH7.4 with 0.09% sodium azide. Antibody was purified by Protein-G affinity chromatography.
Storage:
Store at -20°C. Minimize freeze-thaw cycles. Product is guaranteed one year from the date of shipment.
