Background:
DUSP23 is a protein phosphatase that mediates dephosphorylation of proteins phosphorylated on Tyr and Ser/Thr residues. In vitro, it can dephosphorylate p44-ERK1 (MAPK3) but not p54 SAPK-beta (MAPK10) in vitro. This protein is able to enhance activation of JNK and p38 (MAPK14).
Other Names:
Dual specificity protein phosphatase 23, Low molecular mass dual specificity phosphatase 3, LDP-3, VH1-like phosphatase Z, DUSP23, LDP3, VHZ
Target/Specificity:
The synthetic peptide sequence used to generate the antibody AP6749a was selected from the N-term region of human DUSP23. A 10 to 100 fold molar excess to antibody is recommended. Precise conditions should be optimized for a particular assay.
Gene Name: DUSP23
Gene ID: 54935
Primary Accession: Q9BVJ7
Format: Peptides are lyophilized in a solid powder format. Peptides can be reconstituted in solution using the appropriate buffer as needed.
