Protein Family: Enzymes
Pathway and Disease: Immune System, Nervous and Sensory Systems, Infectious Diseases
Description:
Dynamin-2 is a microtubule-associated force-producing protein involved in producing microtubule bundles and able to bind and hydrolyze GTP. Dynamin-2 is involved in vesicular trafficking processes, in particular endocytosis. Defects in dynamin-2 are a cause of centronuclear myopathy autosomal dominant (ADCNM), also known as autosomal dominant myotubular myopathy. Centronuclear myopathies (CNMs) are congenital muscle disorders characterized by progressive muscular weakness and wasting involving mainly limb girdle, trunk, and neck muscles.
Alternate Names: Dynamin-2, Dynamin 2, DNM2, DYN2
Application Notes: E: 1:500-1:1,000; WB: 1:100-1:500; IHC: 1:100-1:500
Accession No.: P50570
Antigen: KLH-conjugated synthetic peptide encompassing a sequence within the N-term region of human dynamin-2.
Format: Each vial contains 0.1 mg IgG in 0.1 ml (1 mg/ml) of PBS pH7.4 with 0.09% sodium azide. Antibody was purified by Protein-G affinity chromatography.
Storage:
Store at -20°C. Minimize freeze-thaw cycles. Product is guaranteed one year from the date of shipment.
